At the Extraordinary General Meeting held on 12/04/2020, led by Honorary President Min. Herman Benjamin (STJ), Former President Diógenes Carvalho and President-elect Fernando Martins, partner Dennis Verbicaro was unanimously elected Director for the Northern Region of the Brazilian Institute of Consumer Policy and Law (Brasilcon).
Great jurists of the consumerist doctrine were present and voted, such as Cláudia Lima Marques, Oscar Ivan Prux, Antônio Efing, Adalberto Pascualotto, Guilherme Martins, Marcos Catalan, among many others.
Our office celebrates the result of this election, which will allow us to advance even further in the construction of effective technical solutions for consumer conflicts, as well as in maintaining a qualified debate with the business segment and public authorities in this regard, in the executive, legislative and judicial spheres.
